 A note from our Managing Director

Henry Hirst (Provisions) ltd has been trading since 1878 and over those many years the business has changed and adapted to the business conditions. It has traded through two World Wars seen numerous Prime Ministers come and go.It has survived National strikes, Dockers strikes, power cuts and several animal diseases including Foot and Mouth.

The Company has grown and prospered and this is all down to the determination of the people whom have worked in the company both past and present. The simple reason for this has been to follow a simple philosophy of endeavouring to giving customers what they want when they want it.
